Position**:Associate Counsellor**

As a Registered Counsellor, you are responsible to provide counselling services to clients who are assigned to you or the clients that you have brought on board.
- *In order to qualify, you need to be available to see clients in-person on Mondays or Wednesdays in North Vancouver OR Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Burnaby*_

**Qualification and experience**:

- You are a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)
- Agree to attend supervision (in person, online or on the phone) on a bi-weekly basis or when needed
- Agree to work with ICBC, Worksafe, Work BC clients
- Have formal certifications in EMDR, AEDP, EFT (Highly preferred)
- CBT, DBT or Exposure therapy Training is a bonus

**As a valued member of the Expressions Counselling team, You**:

- Take accountability for the clients assigned to you
- Are willing to provide services at our office in Port Moody
- Are diligent in providing timely services to each client
- Are diligent in recording counselling session notes
- Are reliable in following the processes outlined at Expressions Counselling
- Are customer service driven in interaction with clients
- Are able match the energy of the clients and make rapport
- Have excellent time-management skills
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Feel passionate about working with Trauma, Anxiety or Depression
- Is familiar with Cbt, Trauma Focused Therapies, Mindfulness, DBT and Attachment Modalities
- Are willing to work with ICBC clients
- Maintain confidentiality and creates appropriate safety planning when needed
- Are passionate and willing to grow as a counsellor
- Adhere to a business casual dress code
- Are open to attending networking events representing Expressions Counselling
- Engage in ongoing self-care

Bonus points if you:

- Have EFT training and have worked with couples
- Have EMDR training
- Speak a second language
- Are a visible minority or have disability
- Are aboriginal
- Willing to see clients in our others office as well (Burnaby or North Vancouver)

**Compensation**

You receive 70% of treatment income for your clients. Marketing, branding and billing will be done by Expressions Counselling. You will have your own website link and Expressions Counselling will be covering your online advertisements.
