Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling cracks or holes.
- Mix paint to achieve desired color and consistency.
- Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools.
- Protect surfaces from paint drips or spills using drop cloths, tape, or other methods.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals such as carpenters or architects to ensure project specifications are met.
- Follow safety protocols to prevent injuries and accidents.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Proven experience as a painter with at least 2 years of experience in residential or commercial painting.
- Knowledge of painting techniques, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Familiarity with safety guidelines and protocols for painting.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in painting or related field.
- Knowledge of different paint types and their properties.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations.
- Experience working on large-scale commercial or industrial projects.
- Experience with specialty painting techniques such as faux finishing or mural painting.

Physical Demands:
The painter must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a standing position for extended periods of time. The job may require bending, stooping, and reaching. The painter must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and environments.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 35 per week

**Salary**: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Construction: 5 years (required)
