A premier Park Place care residence located in the community of Edmonton AB, Villa Marguerite offers both Independent Living and Supportive Living (DSL, SL4 and SL4D). This is an AUPE unionized position.

**Position Summary**:
The Licensed Practical Nurse is an integrated member of the interdisciplinary care team and is responsible for providing direct Resident care within the scope of practice as defined by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA), the Continuing Competency Program (CCP), and as noted in the Collaborative Care Model. The LPN participates in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care and adheres to the Park Place Seniors Living Policy and Procedure Manual. The Licensed Practical Nurse functions independently and works under the guidance of the Resident Care Manager to further provide leadership, support and direction to Mental Health Aides on an ongoing basis. Responsible for current and valid registration.

**Qualifications**:

- LPN registered with C.L.P.N.A. in good standing
- Valid C.P.R. certificate
- **Clear criminal record security clearance with Vulnerable Sector included (no more than 6 months old)**:

- Must be physically fit to perform lifting and transferring and able to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Appropriately dressed - nursing uniform
- Effective written and oral communication skills in the English language
- Must be able to work independently, and as part of the interdisciplinary team
- **Must have full Covid-19 vaccination**

**Salary**: $28.56-$37.37 per hour
