**Job Summary**
The **Licensed Practical Nurse **is responsible for providing direct skilled client care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Responsibilities include following the plan of care, providing treatments, and working collaboratively with the members of the team to help meet positive client care outcomes.

**Responsibilities**
- Provides direct patient care
- Provides accurate, detailed, and timely documentation
- Conducts ongoing assessments
- Prepares, administers and appropriately documents actions taken specific to medications
- Performs all skills, treatments, and procedures competently in accordance with the provincial scope of practice
- Follows principles of infection control and Universal Precautions

**Qualifications**
- Current certificate of competence and good standing
- Certified in CPR
- Strong clinical skills
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray
- Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
- Excellent customer service skills

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- LPN (required)
- Nursing (preferred)
- CPR Certification (preferred)
