Pastaggio is an artisan fresh pasta company based out of Coho Commissary located at 1370 E Georgia Street, Vancouver. We make a variety of fresh pastas, sauces, sourdough focaccia, desserts and ready to bake meals. We supply for retail and sell direct to our customers at 4-6 farmers’ markets a week during spring/summer & at other special events.

We are growing and looking for a sales representative (part-time or full-time) to support local mid-week & weekend markets and events.

Farmer’s Markets shifts are approximately 7-8 hours inclusive of travel, set up & tear down.

**Days & locations**:

- Wednesday’s 3pm-7pm - Port Moody
- Thursday’s 3pm-7pm False Creek or New Westminster
- Saturday’s 10-2pm Vancouver area or Squamish
- Sunday’s 10-2pm or 4pm Vancouver area, White Rock, or Ladner
- *Travel time 30-75 minutes (paid), 1 hour set up, 30-45 minutes tear down (paid)._

The position is suited for someone who:

- Will embody and exemplify the Pastaggio brand with excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
- Food focused, loves fresh pasta and the craft
- Punctual, reliable & flexible
- Great communication and problem solving skills
- Has a phone with data to use for the Square Point of Sales (POS) System
- Can stand for long periods of time (4-5 hours)
- Able to lift up to 20kg, crouch, bend
- Required: valid driver's license
- Required: Food Safe certificate

We do provide an event vehicle (SUV) but you are more than welcome to use your own vehicle if large enough and we will cover gas and time on the road.

**Job Type**: Part-time or Full-time
Hours: 16 - 40 hours per week

**Salary**: $16 - $20 per hour
- Casual, yet professional dress

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Day shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Must be able to reliably commute to work, Vancouver V5L 2A8 & to market locations in Vancouver, Squamish & the Lower Mainland.

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
- Food Safe Certification

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Shift:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- VANCOUVER, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- customer service or cooking: 1 year (preferred)
