**RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM SUPERVISOR**
PERMANENT FULL TIME

**The Residential Program Supervisor will**:
- Lead and support team of 10-14 employees who care for a high needs resident. Participate in the training, supervising, scheduling and overall management of human resources in order to ensure smooth operations. As the team leader, you are passionate about cultivating a great culture.
- Balance multiple competing priorities including program and client needs, staff supervision, administration and reporting, crisis responses and day-to-day supervision. You are therefore able to effectively set priorities and exercise a high degree of operational and strategic thinking to navigate the unique needs of this high needs/ high support resident. On-call duties are also a part of your overall responsibility
**Requirements**:
- Experience in a supervisory role in this field, DSW, PSW, Social Work or relevant education and experience.
- Experience in ABA and effectively running clients BSP
- Experience working with high needs individuals with behavioral and developmental delays
- Good understanding of the Developmental Services Act, Ministry and Legislative requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Ensure the team is adequately staffed and supported. Responsible for working frontline shifts as required.
- Strong people management and supervision skills
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with proficient computer knowledge
- Effective and supportive communication skills

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Responsible for scheduling, leading, supporting and supervising the program staff.
- Maintain clear, consistent expectations regarding performance management, including positive and constructive feedback.
- Monitor staff working relationships, provide necessary support and follow conflict resolution techniques as required. Bring forward concerns to senior management when further support is needed.
- Perform multiple administrative duties related to work schedules, client records and the day-to-day operation of the home.
- Maintain and promote a high level of quality service delivery.
- Develop and maintain respectful and positive cooperative working relationships with resident, staff, families, outside service agencies etc.
- Ensure required meetings are conducted, such as but not limited to staff meetings, Individual Support Plan meetings, BSP meetings etc.
- Ensure compliance in all service areas as required by Ministry and other relevant legislation (Quality Assurance Measures, Policies and Procedures, Health and Safety)
- Regular use of software programs including but not limited to-Microsoft Office, Google+,
**Conditions of Employment**
- Satisfactory Vulnerable sector screening
- Current First Aid, CPR and Non-violent Crisis Intervention certificates
- Valid driver’s license and availability of insured, safe and reliable vehicle
