**Part-time Early Childhood Educator - Job Share**

Quadra Daycare is seeking a dedicated part-time Early Childhood Educator to join our team.

As an ECE at Quadra Daycare, you will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for children in our care. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about early childhood education and possess the necessary qualifications and skills to excel in this role.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid ECE license to work in British Columbia (mandatory)
- First aid and CPR certificate (valid)
- A clear and current criminal record check
- Character references
- Current resume with education and employment history
- Physician Health Certificate. Compliance with BC immunization control programs
- Be legally allowed to work in Canada

**Required Experience**:

- Experience in working in a multicultural,multi-programmed environment and with families.
- Knowledge of the Early Learning Framework.
- Good Communication skills.
- Ability to work in a not-for-profit organization.
- Ability to work rotational shifts
- Creativity, initiative, enthusiasm, flexibility and a good sense of humour.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Be responsible for the daily needs of the children in our care.
- Complete weekly programming.
- Complete weekly Early Learning Frameworks.
- Learn and follow the policies and procedures of Quadra Daycare.
- Provide a comfortable, caring atmosphere where each child will feel safe, secure, happy and loved.
- Work in cooperation with other staff in a manner that is consistent and in the best interest of the children.
- Willingness to engage in the development and implementation of special events and celebrations hosted by Quadra Daycare.

**Pay**:

- Wage: $23.23 per hour plus wage enhancement.
- Benefits package as per the collective agreement job share.
- Shifts: Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (3 days per week) with the possibility of picking up Mondays and Tuesdays when other staff are sick or on vacation.

**Additional Notes**:
This position is a union position.

All vacation, sick pay and benefits are shared with the other part-time staff member (working 2 days a week).

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $23.23 per hour
