The Food Production Operators will be responsible for working on the production line of Three Farmers. These individuals will be responsible for the operation of equipment for the manufacture of various products and will ensure all work performed adheres to all organizational standards as well as safety regulations and guidelines. This is a labour intensive position requiring individuals to perform repetitive tasks and stand for long periods of time.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Operate and attend to manual and automated equipment in the production process operation.
- Perform all functions as designated by instruction while operating specified equipment.
- Follow all production procedures as instructed.
- Understand and review the product through the specified production process, recognizing areas of defect and taking appropriate actions to rectify them.
- Perform all work to organizational standards to ensure the final product meets quality standards.
- Perform quality inspections as necessary.
- Determine and report product and equipment malfunctions to the appropriate authority.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned work area at all times.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure productivity and efficiency.
- Assure the daily and weekly production schedule is adhered to.
- Follow all standard operating procedures and designated organizational as well as provincial and federal safety guidelines.
- Ensure all equipment is operated according to equipment manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines are followed.
- Participate in educational and training opportunities applicable to the position.
- Other duties shall be assigned as required.
- Has completed secondary education is required
- Has previous experience as food production
- Has effective communication skills
- Can multi-task and make decisions quickly
- Can work in a fast-paced environment with little guidance
- Can deal with stressful situations
- Can work independently and keep yourself organized
- Has attention to detail
- Is diligent and punctual
- Has the ability to use basic tools
- Can perform repetitive tasks with little supervision
- Has a strong work ethic and is able to work on a team
- Has a professional attitude and is committed to quality, accuracy and safety
- Can learn new tasks quickly and adapt to new jobs as they come up
- Is able to stand, crouch, bend, reach, stoop, and lift moderately heavy weights

- Is comfortable working in a warmer production environment
- Must be able to work a rotating shift of days and evenings
