Caneda Transport is seeking Owner Operators to join our team

The Owner Operator is responsible maintaining and operating a commercial motor vehicle transporting LTL and FTL as required throughout Canada and the United States. The Owner Operator must understand that the company operates in a changing environment, and that he or she must be responsive to change. As a result, new directives maybe added or deleted from the list of responsibilities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the proper loading and securing of freight to prevent movement and allow for safe transportation of materials
- Responsible for daily completion of all required paperwork, such as Bill of Ladings, load sheets, ELD logs, scaling truck and trailer before commencing on trips, etc.
- Perform pre-trip, inter-trip and post trip vehicle inspections and adjustments, preventive maintenance, tire chain-ups, brake adjustments and minor on-road repairs as needed
- Pick up and deliver freight in a timely and safe manner
- Cross border

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Class 1 driver’s license
- Commercial driving experience required
- Minimum 5 years LTL driving experience preferred
- Reliable, flexible, and punctual
- Strong communication skills
- Values and prioritized safety
- Successfully complete Caneda pre-screen requirements

**Salary**: $15,000.00-$17,000.00 per month
