To meet the needs of our growing business, MRT is currently recruiting for a Dispatcher/Operations Coordinator at our Sudbury terminal.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan drivers' routes;
- Assign drivers their trips;
- Optimize daytime operations and manage assignment changes;
- Ensure drivers adhere to driving hours;
- Take into account the urgent nature of certain orders;
- Ensure compliance with transport standards;
- Validate availability and condition of trucks and trailers;
- Ensure proper preparation of transport documents and routes;
- Communicate all useful information to drivers.

**General qualifications**:

- DEC in transport logistics or dispatching, or relevant experience in a similar position;
- Bilingualism in French and English essential;
- Organizational skills and ability to adapt to change;
- Ability to communicate and listen;
- Planning skills and proactivity;
- Disposition for teamwork and collaboration;
- Knowledge of the road network;
- Familiarity with the Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
