St. Albert Dodge is looking for an enthusiastic, tenacious, self-motivated individual to join the team. Our organization is one of the region's bet dealerships, serving the St. Albert and surrounding communities in Alberta for many years.
As a Casual Delivery Driver, you will play a critical role in the efficient operations of our dealership by ensuring the safe and timely transport of vehicles between different dealership and/or customer locations. You will be responsible for loading, transporting, and unloading vehicles in a professional and courteous manner while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. The primary goal of this position is to facilitate smooth vehicle deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction and optimizing inventory levels. This role extends beyond logistics; you’ll be the final impression of our company to our valued customers.
- Safely and efficiently transport vehicles using provided delivery truck, or delivery truck and enclosed or flatbed trailer, ensuring the protection and integrity of vehicle(s) during transit.
- Load and unload vehicle(s) using appropriate equipment, such as a flat bed or enclosed trailers, hitches, and straps safely, correctly, and efficiently.
- Maintain effective communication with dealership staff to coordinate vehicle pick-ups and deliveries, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure a safe driving experience and protect the vehicles being transported.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers and dealership personnel, providing exceptional service and addressing any concerns or inquiries.

- and post-trip inspections of the transport vehicle and report any issues or damages promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
- Handle unexpected situations such as traffic delays or vehicle breakdowns, adapting to changing circumstances to ensure on-time deliveries and pick-ups.
**Requirements**:
- A valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Must be comfortable driving large Ram trucks (2500/3500) as well as pulling and backing up large trailers.
- Previous experience in vehicle transport, delivery driving, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to lift, load, and unload vehicles, as well as perform other physical tasks associated with the position.
- Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to completing assigned tasks accurately and on time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and dealership personnel.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends or evenings, to accommodate business needs and operational demands.
- Ability to work well within a team environment, cooperating with colleagues and contributing to a positive work atmosphere.
- Must be willing to submit a criminal record check.
