Shift Leader/duty Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage the front-of-house team during shifts, ensuring all duties are performed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff assignments, and shift planning.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to servers, bartenders, and other front-of-house staff.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to help improve service quality.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment throughout the restaurant.
- Handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper stock levels.
- Enforce health and safety regulations, including food safety and alcohol service laws.
- Work with the management team to implement promotions, special events, and other marketing efforts.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, respect, and a strong work ethic.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including health and safety regulations.
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
