**Part-time Library Technician**
**10-month position**

Grand Erie District School Board represents more than 27,000 students in 58 elementary schools and 14 secondary schools within the City of Brantford and the counties of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk, as well as students from Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. With a dedicated staff of more than 2,900, Grand Erie is committed to learning, leading and inspiring. The Education Centre is located in Brantford.

**Responsibilities**:
**Qualifications**:

- Secondary school Graduation Diploma (Grade 12 or equivalent education) required
- **Must be a graduate of a recognized Community College Program as a Library Technician or equivalent**:

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software and library automation systems is an asset
- Proficiency with keyboarding, speed and accuracy are essential
- Must possess excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Must be able to work effectively and efficiently with minimum supervision
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude and commitment to the provision of excellent service
- Prior library technician experience is an asset
