Powder Coater

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, or grinding as necessary.
- Operate powder coating equipment and machinery efficiently.
- Monitor the curing process to ensure proper adhesion and finish quality.
- Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and cranes for material handling.
- Experience with machining and fabrication processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency in the workflow.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in the preparation and finishing processes.
- Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operations and maintenance requirements.
- Ability to weld is advantageous for certain projects requiring metal joining techniques.

Pay: $16.62-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- industrial painting: 1 year (preferred)
