This job contributes to the Hotel's success by upholding the hotel's brand promise by providing legendary customer service to all customers. This job creates the Delta Service Experience for our customers by providing customers with prompt service, a professional attitude while maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards. The incumbent is responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with hotel guiding principles.

The houseperson is a team player who assists the housekeeping team with hotel cleaning processes and procedures including but not limited to preparing rooms for cleaning by the room attendant; delivering supplies to guest floors; vacuuming hallways and guest areas; responding to guest requests using hotel mobile app.

Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance. Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects). Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Must be available to work both day and afternoon shifts including weekends and holidays.
