Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team in the food industry. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of meals in our kitchen. Your role will involve ensuring food safety, handling and preparing ingredients, and supporting the overall operations of the kitchen.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to recipes and guidelines
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring as required
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely meal service
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies
- Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment regularly
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and food safety regulations

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working in a restaurant or similar food service environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Understanding of food safety practices and proper handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Note: We do offer apprenticeship hours.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $17.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
