If you share our values and would like to work with a skilled professional team, Armour is presently seeking a **Chief Plant Operator **to join our growing team at our Halifax, Nova Scotia location.

Additional responsibilities include:

- Providing mentorship, guidance and operational support to shift operators and maintenance staff;
- Oversee shift operators on-site and ensure the plant is inspected every twenty-four (24) hours and is monitored on-site and remotely for alarms;
- Assist in the planning and effective execution of plant operations;
- Ensure compliance with all applicable legislative requirements, policies and practices for plant operations;
- Prepare reports and updates for senior leadership as required;
- Plan and communicate preventative maintenance safety protocols to staff; and
- Liaise with leadership, staff and contractors in a professional manner.
