**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:
The Bear Mountain Activity Centre (BMAC) is seeking motivated, customer-service oriented fitness professionals to join our team to create and deliver water-based exercise programs in the role of Aquafit Instructor.

In this role, you will share your passion and enthusiasm for health and fitness with our community-based membership. You will create appropriate programming, deliver and evaluate water-based and or group fitness exercise programs. As an Aquafit/Group Fitness Instructor you will build rapport with our members and engage them with our available services and will immerse yourself into the BMAC culture. If required, you will also perform the duties of an Activity Centre Associate and the duties include but are not limited to supervising the weight room, includes maintaining a healthy and safe environment for the patrons, cleaning and maintaining equipment, leading orientations, and fitness assessments.
- BCRPA Group Fitness Certification or equivalent (CSEP, NASM, ACE, etc.)
- 2 years’ relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills
- Current First Aid and CPR-C

The day-to-day environment within the resort community is highly animated with guests, tennis, golf and BMAC members along with residents and vacationers using the amenities as a hub for socializing and relaxing.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-35 per week

**Salary**: $19.00-$29.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
