**POSITION OVERVIEW**

dormakaba is seeking a Release Train Engineer based in Montreal, QC (Hybrid). The Release Train Engineer is responsible for communicating with stakeholders, escalating impediments, managing risk, and driving continuous improvement.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Work collaboratively with your peers in engineering management and with the development teams to maximize productivity
- Organize and monitor schedules and see that deadlines are met
- Coordinate efforts within at least one Agile Release Train (ART)
- Report updates verbally and in writing to management
- Monitor utilization within the ART and help ensure resources are used efficiently
- Organize ART modifications, such us on-boarding and off-boarding of teams in collaboration with other staff members of the Lean Agile Center of Excellence (LACE), and Engineering Management.
- Conduct basic training on SAFe specific topics

**WHAT WE REQUIRE**
- 5 years of agile development (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe,)
- Practical experience as Release Train Engineer or Scrum Master - alternatively recognized certification in any of these areas
- Academic degree in electrical engineering, computer science, IT or comparable
- Travel up to 10-20% for quarterly meetings

**WHAT WE PREFER**
- Experience as RTE for a “Large Solution” or “Portfolio” SAFe configuration
- Experience in continuous improvement of train setups
- Experience in a heterogeneous environment of project driven and product driven innovation
- Experience with Lean Portfolio Management or comparable enterprise planning methodologies

- **APERÇU DU POSTE**

dormakaba est à la recherche d'un «Release Train Engineer» basé à Montréal, QC. Le RTE est responsable de communiquer avec les intervenants, de signaler les obstacles, d'aider à gérer les risques et de favoriser l'amélioration continue.

**CE QUE VOUS FEREZ**
- Travailler en collaboration avec ses pairs au sein de la direction de l'ingénierie et avec les équipes de développement afin de maximiser la productivité.
- Organiser et surveiller les calendriers et veiller à ce que les délais soient respectés
- Coordonner les efforts au sein d'au moins un train de lancement agile (ART)
- Faire part des mises à jour verbalement et par écrit à la direction
- Contrôler l'utilisation au sein de l'ART et s'assurer que les ressources sont utilisées de manière efficace
- Organiser les modifications de l'ART, telles que l'embarquement et le débarquement des équipes en collaboration avec d'autres membres du personnel du Lean Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) et de la direction de l'ingénierie.
- Conduire des formations de base sur des sujets spécifiques à SAFe

**CE QUE NOUS DEMANDONS**
- 5 ans de développement agile (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe,...)
- Expérience pratique en tant que Release Train Engineer ou Scrum Master - alternativement certification reconnue dans l'un de ces domaines
- Diplôme universitaire en génie électrique, en informatique, en TI ou dans un domaine comparable.

**CE QUE NOUS PRÉFÉRONS**
- Expérience en tant que RTE pour une configuration SAFe de type « Large Solution » ou « Portfolio ».
- Expérience dans l'amélioration continue des configurations de train
- Expérience dans un environnement hétérogène d'innovation axée sur les projets et les produits
