This position is available for two locations: The Grand Hotel Nanaimo and The Waterfront Suites and Marina.

The Night Auditor is responsible for conducting overnight coverage of front desk duties between 11pm to 7am

The successful applicant ensures the full auditing of all postings, charges, and payment transactions are balanced at the close of business each evening.

Coverage of Front Desk during the shift including all regular front desk duties as well as the reconciliation of end of day reports.

A team player by nature, the position requires effective communication skills within the guest services department and all other hotel departments. Although interactions with guests is limited during the overnight hours, the night audit position will require the successful applicant to check-in guests who arrive late, and also check out guests who depart early in the morning.

A positive demeanor and attitude is necessary in order to maintain high levels of guest service.

Additional Qualifications:
Basic accounting skills and strong computer knowledge Keen eye for details. Previous Hotel Front Desk or Night Audit experience is preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends. Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
