**Facilities Technician**

**Full-time Permanent Position**

**Facilities Building - Nisku, AB**

Black Gold School Division is seeking a Facilities Technician who will support the Facilities Department’s bookkeeping needs, which include:

- Processing the Facility Department’s accounts payables/receivables
- Providing and tracking all purchase orders for maintenance staff including all Facilities projects
- Processing purchasing card invoices/statements for Facilities staff
- Assisting with final costs and submissions for special projects
- Entering/upkeeping Infrastructure Maintenance and Renewal/Capital Maintenance and Renewal projects on Alberta Infrastructure web-based system to enable year-end submission.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience with bookkeeping would be a preferred asset
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills combined with the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment are essential in this role.
- The ability to work well with others in a professional, friendly manner is required

**Salary/Benefits**:

- Full-time, 12-month, permanent position
- Salary commensurate with training and experience (pay level 2: $43,005 - $56.568)
- Competitive benefits package through ASEBP and LAPP, 3 weeks vacation
