**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement activities, strategies and schedules to address IPP goals.
- Organize and prepare daily plans for individual children/student utilizing visual schedules, special seating, accessing and modifying learning materials, classroom equipment and activities to meet the needs of the child/student.
- Focus on relationship building, to support the implementation of sensory-based strategies.
- Assist children/students in play activities.
- Documentation of child/student’s progress.
- Assist with classroom maintenance.
- Support children with self-care skills (i.e., toilet/diaper, feeding, etc.).

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum grade twelve diploma. Post-secondary education in a related field (2-year program minimum) or equivalent work experience.
- Experience working with children with special needs is preferred.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position.

**Pre-Requisite Security Clearance Documentation**:

- ‘Intervention Record Check through Alberta Child Services’ is also required, however, we can support you with completing this during your onboarding.

Pay: $20.73-$24.89 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
