The Tax and Treasury Manager will have the overall responsibility for managing tax compliance and reporting for the organization including but not limited to its tax equity structures and multi-state project entities from both an accounting and tax perspective. Additionally, the tax and treasury manager will work with our owners regarding tax structure and take on overall responsibility for the highly linked treasury management.
This role can be structured as remote or hybrid depending on location of the applicant.
**Responsibilities
- Strategize on corporate structure efficiency while balancing the needs of Tax Equity structures
- Preparation, filing and all resultant communications associated with all annual tax returns
- Oversee and ensure overall tax compliance (income, sales and use, franchise, etc)
- Support tax related aspects of financial reporting
- Strategize and oversee treasury operations
**Qualifications
- Practical tax equity structure knowledge
- Hands on experience with breadth of US tax matters
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Incredible level of organization capabilities
