The job of a Server at Montana's BBQ and Bar involves providing excellent customer service to guests by greeting them with a warm, friendly smile and promptly taking their orders. The server must also be knowledgeable about the menu items, preparation methods, ingredients and allergen information in order to answer any questions from patrons. The Server is also responsible for delivering food, beverages and condiments to the table in an efficient and timely manner, as well as removing empty plates, dishes, glasses and cutlery between courses. Other duties include accurately processing guest payments including cash, credit/debit cards or other types of payment such as gift certificates. Additionally, Servers must ensure that the restaurant is kept clean and tidy throughout shifts by wiping tables, cleaning spills or broken glassware and refilling condiment containers. Successful Servers must have good interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with both patrons and co-workers. They should also demonstrate outstanding teamwork abilities by working together with other staff members to create an enjoyable dining experience for customers. Servers should remain positive while on shift since they interact directly with guests and need to maintain a professional attitude at all times. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required; however applicants should possess basic hospitality knowledge in order to provide effective customer service. As this position requires handling money transactions, strong math skills are advantageous. To summarize, the job requirements of a Server at Montana's BBQ & Bar include providing excellent customer service; knowledge of menu items; quick delivery of food/beverages/condiments; accurate payment processing; keeping the restaurant clean; good interpersonal skills; teamwork abilities; strong math skills; professional attitude; hospitality knowledge; dependability/reliability and previous restaurant experience (preferred).

**Salary**: $15.00 per hour
