Job Overview
The position of Door Manufacturer is responsible for manufacturing stock and custom doors for WTB service truck bodies. They meet company productivity, quality, and safety expectations while ensuring deadlines and procedures are maintained.
Responsibilities
- Assemble doors, parts, and components as outlined in daily specifications
- The ability to Weld/assemble different steel or aluminum parts
- Measure inserts and cut to specification for insertion
- Performs visual quality inspections on all completed work. Checks manufactured items for deficiencies.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, i.e., drills, nail guns, grinders, polishers, saws, etc.
- Installation of doors onto service truck bodies
- Produce quality products while maintaining the required production and safety standards Skills
- Proficient in machining techniques and the use of hand tools.
- Must have basic welding/fabrication skills
- Previous experience as a door manufacturer is an asset
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Competence in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining individual accountability.
