Our fast-growing international firm is known for its global outlook, comprehensive practice, and genuine commitment to clients as well as for its distinctive approach within an open, fast-paced, and rapidly changing field. **The Role** **Key Responsibilities** - Preparation and production of a variety of legal documents, with accuracy, in the area of litigation. - Attending to file openings, preparation, and management. - Preparation of daily correspondence. - Entering time and working with the billing department, as required. - Performing online searches and filings through BC Online/BC Registries. - Proofreading of typed material for grammatical, typographical, or spelling errors. - Maintaining an efficient bring forward/follow-up system. - Carrying out other general administrative tasks as required by the firm. **Essential Skills & Experience** - Legal Assistant Certification from an accredited institution or the equivalent. - Minimum of 3 years' experience as a legal assistant in the area of litigation with knowledge and understanding of the B.C. Supreme Court Rules. - Solid understanding of law office procedures. - Strong computer skills in the area of Microsoft Suite. - iManage, 3E experience would be an asset. - Rigor and attention to detail. - Great organization and prioritization skills. - Handling and prioritizing workload while working under pressure of tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Behaving in a professional manner with lawyers, clients, and other team members at all levels. - Team-spirit, strong sense of collaboration and positive, "can-do" attitude. **The Firm** Clyde & Co is a leading global law firm, specialising in the sectors that underpin global trade and commercial activity, namely: insurance, transport, construction, energy, trade, and commodities.
