Accounting Technician

**POSITION**:
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Performs **daily transaction** accounting in **Maestro** accounting software;
- Contribute to the **month-end process** by accounting for project entries, including**:taxes** (GST/QST), **journal entries**, **reconciliations**, etc.;
- Data entry of **construction invoices**;
- Provide **monthly cash flow** analysis for projects
- Prepare **monthly documents for financing** companies to support loan disbursements;
- Assist in preparing various ad hoc **financial analyses** for both internal and external stakeholders;
- Take ownership of **assigned projects**;
- ** Collaborate** with the team to assist with other projects;
- Any other related tasks.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Between **two (2) and three (3)** years of progressive accounting experience;
- Experience in the **construction industry**;
- Knowledge of **Maestro** software, an asset;
- Good knowledge of the **Office suite** (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.);
- Excellent communication skills in **French and English**;
- Verbal and written communication in a **Chinese language, an asset**;
- Good knowledge of **accounting principles and processes**;
- ** Detail oriented**;
- Excellent ability to meet **deadlines**;
- Sense of **priority** and **urgency**;
- ** Organized**, autonomous, and **flexible**.
