**COMPANY DESCRIPTION**:
LiftWerx is a specialized wind energy contractor which performs large corrective repairs, mainly using crane-less technology. LiftWerx offers both specialized equipment and experienced personnel to perform corrective repairs on a wide variety of wind turbines. The majority of lifting services are performed using up-tower crane technology, which avoids the high cost and disruption of utilizing large conventional cranes on the ground.

Director of Facilities (full-time)
**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**LOCATION**:
This position is based out of our Cambridge, ON office.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Strategically oversee the maintenance and operation of all company facilities, including buildings and grounds, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
- Formulate and implement comprehensive facility management policies and procedures to enhance the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of all facilities.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and other departments to ensure that facility needs are proactively addressed and aligned with organizational goals.
- Develop, manage, and optimize the facilities budget, including strategic forecasting and tracking of expenses, to ensure financial efficiency.
- Ensure rigorous compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety regulations, to maintain a safe and compliant environment.
- Oversee and drive the planning and execution of major facility improvement projects, including renovations and new construction, to support organizational growth and innovation.
- Cultivate and manage strategic vendor relationships and contracts for facility services, to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Coordinate, contract, and oversee various contractors as required for operational and capital expenditures, including the creation and issuance of RFPs, formulation of contracts, and contract management as required.
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of facilities to pro-actively identify and address any maintenance or safety issues, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment.
- Develop and champion sustainability initiatives to significantly reduce the environmental impact of company facilities and promote eco-friendly practices.
- Act as leader and mentor within the organization across all stakeholder and customer groups focused on enabling organizational success.
**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE**:
**Education**
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
**Experience**
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
**Knowledge/Skills**
- Strong knowledge of facility management principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
