Reporting to the Senior Manager, Governance and Executive Compensation, you will develop and manage a regulatory compliance program and provide legal support primarily in connection with securities law matters. **What you can expect to do here**:
For example, you will:

- Coordinate and manage the global ESPP and equity plan compliance program database and project management platform;
- Stay up to date on legislative changes and implement changes to the compliance program as applicable;
- Coordinate regulatory filings related to ESPP and equity plans compliance with regional and Global legal and tax teams, including gathering, organizing and sorting data for such filings;
- Support a team of securities law professionals on various securities law matters that are relevant to a reporting issuer;
- Act as backup for corporate securities filings in SEDI, TSX LINX, etc.;
- Support in the preparation of the Management Information Circular;Perform all related tasks.

**What you’ll bring to WSP**:

- 5 or more years of legal work experience focused on securities and corporate matters acquired in the legal department of a large international company, a major law firm, or a combination of both;
- Bachelor of Law;
- Highly autonomous and motivated, strong analytical skills;
- Detail-oriented, project management, administrative and organisational skills
- Good writing skills, ability to foresee and assess the business consequences of regulatory framework;
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills;
- Strong ability to work in a team setting;
- Fluency in English, both oral and written;
- Tech savvy, proficient in all Microsoft Office suite including SharePoint and Teams.
