**Missions**:

- You will join **Crédit Agricole CIB Canada **as **FIG Coverage Analyst**.
- Credit Agricole CIB Canada is seeking a FI coverage associate in Toronto to support the Senior Bankers to **develop global relationships with Canadian global leading Financial Institutions (FI).**
- Crédit Agricole CIB's Canada FI Coverage is a growing team working with** Pension Funds, Banks and Insurances from Canada,** supporting their international strategic investments through **advisory and financing, their global markets and debt capital markets activities.**
- Crédit Agricole CIB Canada also include in Montreal and Toronto, Trade Finance, Sustainable Finance, Corporate coverage and support function teams and is operationally part of the New York based Crédit Agricole CIB Americas platform.

**Your concrete missions will be the following**:

- Assist the Senior Bankers in the **management of global relationships for Canadian clients and with local subsidiaries** of large international institutions.
- Support the Senior Bankers in the **origination of business opportunities** in collaboration with business lines **:Sustainable Banking, M&A, Securitization, ECM/DCM, Loan Syndication, Trade Finance**...
- ** Prepare tailored Coverage pitchbooks **for client presentations and coordinate with relevant business lines
- ** Create sector reviews and update**, participate into **client intelligence development** to originate M&A ideas and business opportunities
- **Interact with coverage and product teams from Crédit Agricole CIB worldwide** network to execute the commercial action plans and provide value to the clients
- Support the Senior Bankers in the **management of the credit process** - working with credit analysts to ensure annual reviews and transaction requests are processed in a timely manner ahead of business pipeline and credit committees
- **Support and actively participates in building up and maintaining the network** with other coverage team members, Product Partners and Support Functions by sharing ideas and past experiences (transversal and cross-fertilization interactions) to encourage cross-selling, deal replicability and best practice sharing
- **Map international business intelligence** to illustrate global relationships with local contacts and local commercial actions plans to **identify business opportunities** in our international Crédit Agricole CIB and Crédit Agricole Group network.
- ** Monitor client and portfolio profitability** and extensive use of our CRM.
- **Support the Senior Banker on KYC process** ensuring KYC is in place and up to date for all clients

**To be eligible for a VIE**:

- Be less than 29 years old
- Be graduated of Master Degree
- Be EU citizen

**Expérience**:

- A first experience in banking is mandatory.

**Compétences recherchées**:
**Hard Skills**:

- Corporate Finance ;
- Industry analysis, M&A, Customer relations, understanding of the credit decision process ;
- Ability to provide a “view” / analysis / business or marketing reaction to any client news flow and relevant industry events ;
- Knowledge of the bank's products offering ;
- Microsoft Office (**PowerPoint & Excel**) ;
- Knowledge of Bloomberg would be a plus ;
- Fluent French and English ;
- Other language would be a plus.
