**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Baker. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating delightful baked goods for our customers. Your expertise in various breads, food preparation, and customer service will be essential as you contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality food products in a welcoming team environment.

**Duties**
- Weigh ups accurately, mix, proof and other baked goods with precision and creativity to meet customer specifications.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist and when required, lead the baking team in meeting production schedules while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Handle food products safely, adhering to all food handling regulations and guidelines.
- Package finished products for sale while ensuring they meet presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including equipment and workstations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during production hours.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in the baking or food industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in baking doughs with consistent size and quality is required.
- Strong background in operating commercial baking equipment such as mixers, ovens, proofers and dough dividers safely and efficiently.
- Experience in maintaining production logs and adjusting to changing customer needs in a relatively short period of time.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food products.
- Experience working with other food production departments an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week
