**Must be flexible to work during the daytime and evening on weekdays and weekends**

**Benefits and Perks**
- This position offers 16 - 40 hours of work per week until mid-October_
- Hourly wage**:$25 per hour**:

**Duties Include**
- Working closely with the Executive and Sous Chef to prepare the kitchen, run the line, and close the kitchen down
- Leading the kitchen team in the absence of the Executive or Sous Chef
- Executing the full menu including the restaurant, banquet and wedding offerings, as well as the food truck and concession items
- Setting up, operating, and closing down the food truck for weddings and golf tournaments
- Ensuring that quality is consistently achieved in all dishes
- Other duties as assigned

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Culinary skills with expertise in various cooking techniques and food presentation
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- High attention to detail when cooking and plating all types of food
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to positively influence others
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Team oriented
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Quick thinking and ‘can-do’ attitude
- Customer service skills and a personable approach

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar culinary role is required
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays is required
- Valid Food Safe Level 1 is required
- Willingness to complete a Police Information Check is required
- Operated by Ten Feet Sports and Entertainment Ltd. the Redwoods Golf Course has been serving locals and guests since 1994. Redwoods is situated in North Langley just off of Highway #1 and minutes from the Golden Ears Bridge_

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Line Cooking: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe (preferred)
