**Position Overview**:
Under the general supervision of the Manager (or designate) the incumbent:

- Serves as a regional expert in his/her designated clinical practice area(s), and provides guidance to the pharmacist members of his/her team through clinical leadership, mentoring, training, education, evaluation and research.
- Provides quality clinical pharmacy services to patients/clients within his/her designated clinical practice area.
- Serves as a regional Pharmacy resource in his/her designated clinical practice area(s) and provides educational programs to pharmacy staff, students and other healthcare professionals.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of four years of recent clinical experience in direct patient care is required.
- One or more years of experience in direct patient care, within the designated clinical practice area(s), is preferred.

**Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)**:

- Entry-to-practice academic credential in Pharmacy from an accredited Canadian university program or the approved equivalent if internationally educated as determined by the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba (CPhM).
- Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Practice Residency program or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Advanced clinical training (e.g. pharmacotherapy certification, post-graduate fellowship training, etc.) is considered an asset.

**Certification/Licensure/Registration**:

- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the Province of Manitoba.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to work under stress and time constraints.
- May be required to work day, evening, night and weekend shifts.
- May, on occasion, be required to work extended hours.
- May be exposed to infectious diseases, blood and body fluids, toxic materials, noise, allergens, physical and emotional stress.
- May encounter aggressive and/or agitated clients/visitors/staff.
- Must be able to travel to multiple sites within the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA).
