Reporting to the Assembly, Test and Paint (ATP) Supervisor, the **Assembly Technician - ATP Gate Valve** will be responsible for providing quality workmanship on the assembly testing and painting of Company products while maintaining high standards.

**Key position functions include**:

- Assemble, stamp and test gate valve assemblies in accordance with work order requirements
- Responsible to ensure assembly and testing meet work order requirements
- Identify non-conformances by separation and/or marking
- Maintain work station and equipment to an acceptable Stream-Flo standard of cleanliness
- Follow work order and process traveler requirements and fill out job sheets or record time using ERP system
- Report all machine, crane and hoist problems in the proper maintenance logs and notify
- Maintenance Department and/or lead hand/supervisor of a down time situation
- Ensure compliance with Stream-Flo Group Guiding Principles in terms of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental regulations or policies
- Ensure compliance with all applicable standards/procedures
- Ensure processes and testing operations are performed in accordance with safety regulations and are carried out in a conscientious manner
- Maintain an acceptable level of productivity and efficiency
- Work in conjunction with Industrial Engineering to achieve and maintain best practices
- Perform other duties assigned by Lead Hand/Supervisor
- Related assembly, testing and painting experience.
- Mechanical assembly/repair experience.
- Forklift experience is an asset.
- Computer skills are an asset.
- Knowledge of Stream-Flo and/or competitors’ equipment would be an asset.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Detail oriented, strong work ethic and good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
