With a passion for helping homeowners reimagine their indoor and outdoor space, you will have an understanding of current social media platforms, and keen interest in learning and growing in an ever-changing social media environment. As a Social Media Specialist, you will work alongside our marketing team, developing media content and strategies that align with our business objectives.
- Develop engaging content for social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Manage social media accounts and engage with followers to increase brand awareness and engagement
- Build relationships with influencers to promote our brand and products
- Monitor social media trends, and adjust social media strategies accordingly
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that social media strategies align with overall marketing plans
- Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of social media campaigns
- Analyze social media metrics, such as engagement rates, follower growth, and conversions, to determine the effectiveness of social media campaigns and make data-driven decisions
- Manage social media campaigns and work with the marketing team to develop and execute social media campaigns, including paid social media advertising, to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions
- Manage social media comments and reviews with professionalism and promptness
- Utilize software such as Canva Premium, Adobe CC suite, etc. in an in-depth creative and new form.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- 1-2 years of experience in a social media account managing role (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or related fields
- Ability to commute to Bolton, ON as well as on location production sites (including retailers, contractor work-sites, homeowners, etc.)
- Experience working with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Tik Tok, and YouTube
- Proficiency with photograph and digital designs (Adobe CC Suite & Canva)
- Experience with videography and video editing tools/software
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging and informative content
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data, and provide recommendations to enhance programs and followers
- Familiarity with social media management tools
