**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Perform meat cutting and preparation tasks, including but not limited to slicing, grinding, and packaging various cuts of meat.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the butcher area, adhering to all food safety guidelines.
- Assist customers with their meat selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations and excellent customer service.
- Monitor inventory levels of meat products and communicate any needs for restocking to management.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and sanitized after use.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to fulfill special orders or specific preparation requests from customers.
- Stay updated on industry trends related to meat preparation and food handling practices.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a butcher or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and food preparation methods.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as needed.
- A passion for quality food products and commitment to delivering the best service possible.
