Continuing Care Assistants at Roseway Manor are responsible for: - Providing personal care to our residents - Serve meal trays, feed or assist residents with their meals - Weigh, lift, turn, and re-position residents - Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment - Demonstrate communication skills (written and verbal), initiative and empathy skills - Be a team player - Prepare residents for recreation programs and accompany them if required - Make beds and maintain resident rooms - Stock supplies - Maintain equipment (cleanliness and keep in well-working order) **Qualifications** - CCA Certificate or enrolled in a CCA Program - Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check - Standard First Aid/CPR - Passion for working with the aging population with a resident first approach - Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 Roseway Manor is boldly striving to build a culture where everyone has an opportunity to do meaningful work and be recognized for their efforts in creating a "large life" for our 66 residents.
