As Receiver you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and seamless reception and processing of incoming shipments. The Receiver must load and unload shipments regularly, with the capability of repetitive heavy lifting, and use any necessary equipment, e.g. pump tuck. Other responsibilities will include the inspection of incoming shipments to verify contents and quality. The Receiver must understand the impact of this position to other business functions that depend on the accuracy and efficiency of incoming items. Inventory management and handling negative on hand is critical.
**SKILLS, EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES**:
- High School diploma
- 1-3 years in retail progressing retail experience.
- 1-3 years prior experience in receiving/shipping is an asset.
- Affinity for golf, regularly keep up to date with market trends and new innovations in golf retail.
- Must wear safety shoes.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet
- Strong communication both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to problem-solving
- Must be able to lift, bend and carry objects on a continuous basis
