**Accounts Payable Clerk Job Responsibilities**:

- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Verify and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and payments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensures credit is received for outstanding memos.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Accounts Payable Clerk Qualifications / Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-managed - able to resolve most problems independently and know when to seek help.
- Enjoy multi-tasking and able to juggle many priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Able to compare data from a variety of sources for accuracy and completeness.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

**Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements**:

- Valid Class 5 Drivers License.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in similar role.
- Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- Forestry and mining industry experience and interest preferred.
