Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our dynamic front-end and warehouse team. In this vital role working under the supervision of our Logistics Manager. You will be responsible for efficiently managing outgoing shipments or parts and core, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining currier relationships. You will also assist with incoming phone calls. Your proactive approach will help keep our operations running smoothly and support our commitment to exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Prepare outgoing orders with precision, utilizing picking & packing techniques and coordinating with order pickers
- Ensure proper packaging of products for safe transportation, adhering to company standards
- Coordination of outbound freight (LTL, courier, local delivery)
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Stock shelves efficiently, and perform regular stock counts
- Assist in order fulfillment processes, including order picking, packing, and loading for delivery or shipment
- Be a backup on the phones, answering incoming calls if others are busy and direct calls to appropriate people
- Assist in administrative duties including spreadsheets, shipping/receiving logs, billing out etc.
- Beneficial but not required: Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload trucks Experience
- Prior experience working in an office or warehouse environment with shipping & receiving or administrative responsibilities
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and inventory management systems, Microsoft office suite, operating systems (Karmak) etc.
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners (certification preferred) is considered an asset
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order calculations
- Knowledge of e-commerce order processing and packaging procedures is a plus
