**Job Summary**
We have a Casual - **Client Care Attendant** (**HS-PHS-05**) position open up at the Warkworth Institution, medium security site located in Campbellford, ON. We are currently canvassing to determine interest.

Casual employment refers to positions that work on an as-needed basis, often to meet short-term operational requirements. Casual employees may be called upon to fill in for regular employees on leave, support specific projects, or assist during peak periods. These roles may offer flexibility and varied work experiences. Individuals hired in casual roles may have opportunities for advancement, as there is potential to transition to a Full-time position, should a vacancy arise within the institution.

**Essential Criteria For Applications Include**:
**EDUCATION**

Personal Support Worker Diploma or a Health Care Aide Certificate or a Continuing Care Assistant Certificate from a recognized postsecondary institution or technical school

**EXPERIENCE**

Experience working in a health care environment, including clinical practicum placement(s)* providing care to clients

**KNOWLEDGE**

Knowledge of basic patient care practices

Knowledge of infection control principles

Knowledge of documentation standards and practices in a health care setting

**ABILITIES**

Ability to define and analyze problems and develop an appropriate plan of action

Ability to transfer patients safely

**PERSONAL SUITABILITY**

Reliability

Judgment

Effective Interpersonal Relations

Communication

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**

Valid CPR certificate (level C) including Automated External Defibrillator.
