**Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Curriculum Support**:
Assist in developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum plans.
Support teachers in creating engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
Observe and assess children's development and learning progress.
**Staff Supervision**:
Assist with hiring, training, and supervising early childhood educators.
Provide support and guidance to staff members.
Conduct performance evaluations and address performance issues.
**Parent Communication**:
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and well-being.
Address parent concerns and questions in a timely and professional manner.
Participate in parent-teacher conferences and other family engagement activities.
**Administrative Tasks**:
Assist with administrative tasks, such as enrollment, attendance, and record-keeping.
Prepare reports and maintain accurate documentation.
Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and quality standards.
**Classroom Support**:
Assist teachers in the classroom as needed, including supporting children during activities and transitions.
Participate in classroom routines, such as mealtimes, nap times, and outdoor play.

**Requirements**:

- Level 2 or 3 Nova Scotia ECE classification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Knowledge of child development theory and practice
- Proficiency in early childhood education regulations and standards
