**Development Analyst (Hybrid or Remote)** Applicants Outside of the GTA Are Welcome to Apply **What you'll be doing** - Own the team's incoming requests. This includes issues; you are responsible for ensuring that all bugs are "ready to start". This includes setting and adhering to bug standards with good descriptions, available datasets, ready environments, and repeatable steps (if possible). We are looking for someone to work alongside Dev, Product, QA, and Support to refine bug/enhancement requirements. - Work as part of a “triage” team to help set priorities and make appropriate assignments. We are looking for a collaborative team player and someone comfortable innovating a process. - Be the point person for the Support group on all escalated issues, and incoming Q&A from others including documentation and Product. We are looking for someone accountable to work within the team and not just ensure resolution - as the point person you represent the team internally. - Perform QA for new features. We are looking for someone quality oriented, and a good communicator. This includes developing test cases and creating implementation documents. You are representing the development team and what we solved and created - this is a chance to show off - Work with the team to execute test cases (QC) and create automated tests. We are looking for someone who can perform UA (User Acceptance) tests on new features and make sure that all projects are “regression ready”. - Help the keep team organized and updated on critical issues. We expect you are comfortable (or are willing to learn) agile processes. **What you'll need** - 5+ years experience working with electrical distribution management software including SCADA, OMS, or DMS is required. - Degree in Computer Science or Power Engineering, or another related field. - Experience working with automated testing tools - Experience collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence is an asset - Advanced troubleshooting skills, strong attention to detail excellent teamwork, collaboration, and facilitation skills. strong communications skills, especially written, ability to learn quickly and excellent time management skills. **About Us**: Survalent Technology Corporation is the leading provider of real-time smart grid management system for enabling visualization, optimization, and improved operations for utilities.
