**Job Overview**

This is a Temporary Full Time Position.

**Duties**
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation.
- Utilize software tools such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to create precise estimates and manage project data.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project scopes, timelines, and budgets.
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive bids.
- Conduct site visits to gather information for accurate estimating and assess potential challenges.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and correspondence related to bidding processes.
- Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members to facilitate effective communication throughout the estimating process.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam is highly desirable.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
- A solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods is essential.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in estimates.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $28.00-$35.50 per hour

Expected hours: 44 - 60 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
