Tiercon is seeking knowledgeable, self-directed, experienced and hardworking individuals interested in the automotive industry as a Assembler at our 352 Arvin Ave. location.

Job Summary & Reporting Structure:
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Assembler is responsible for performing a variety of production tasks, including but not limited to: assembly, training, inspecting, problem solving, machine operator as well as communicating manpower and scheduling issues with supervision. Employees will be responsible for adhering to the policies and procedures outlined in the IATF Quality System and practice continuous improvement wherever possible.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assemble customer supplied automotive parts to meet specified quality standards.
- Record daily production ensuring accuracy and submit to Supervisor.
- Handle product properly at all times, and assemble according to specifications.
- Ensure that materials or equipment required be kept in a clean manner before and after shifts and report any maintenance issues to Supervisor.
- Conduct a final inspection before customer product is packed and/or labeled.
- Handle product properly at all times and package according to specifications.
- Ensure that work area is clean and orderly throughout and after the shift.
- Comply with company work and safety rules at all times and report all accidents, incidents and potential hazards immediately.
- Participate in corrective/preventative action when required.
- Practice continuous improvement; identify processes or procedures that will result in production of non-conforming product, or identifying any processes or procedures that can be improved and result in better company performance.
- Adhere to all procedures and policies as outlined.
- Perform duties assigned from time to time by supervisor.

Qualifications:

- Grade 12 or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Effective communication skills, verbal, and written
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Ability to work rotating shifts, 1 week day shift (6:00am-3:00pm) and 1 week afternoon shift (3:30pm-12:15PM)
