Assembly Technician

**Position Summary**

Reporting directly to the company’s Hardware Engineering Manager, this role will focus on filling orders, finalizing configurations, and arranging shipment when required of security systems.

**Specific Duties/Responsibilities**
- Receive orders for security systems and prepare the required equipment
- Closely follow field schedules to stay ahead of equipment needs
- Communicate with other teams for specific details for each installation
- Arrange shipping when required and follow up with recipients
- Communicate with purchasing department for restocking on key items.

**Core Competencies**
- Using computer systems to track work
- Using hand tools to assemble and disassemble equipment
- Basic understanding of networking equipment and security camera equipment
- Keeping a clear a safe work area
- Self-motivated and committed to constant learning and development
- Ability to analyze / prioritize problems and resolve in a timely manner
- Good oral and written communications and report writing skills

**Requirements**:

- Min Grade 12 graduate and 1-2 years related work experience

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
