**Position**: Dock Worker

**Location**: Saskatoon, SK

**Type of employment**:Full-time
- **Hours of work**_

**Monday to Friday 5:30 AM - 11:30 AM plus on-call alternating weekends (2-3 weekends on, 1 off). Wednesday scheduled off**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assisting in the preparation of freight, including labeling, cubing, and scanning
- Maintain safe working procedures and environment
- Ensure a forklift checklist has been completed at the beginning of the shift
- Stage freight in the correct order by postal code and/or city
- Prepare trucks before loading
- Load and offload any trailers in an orderly manner
- Report any accidents to supervisors immediately
- Cube or re-weigh any skids received
- Practice caution while handling fragile items
- Any additional duties as required

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and able to lift 75 lbs. as required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both individually and as part of a group
- Minimum 6 months of counter balance forklift operating experience
- Minimum 1 - 2 years experience of warehouse experience
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Must have own transportation to work
- Ability to work on a team and be a team player
- Must be comfortable with using onboard or handheld computer devices
- Must have a safety and compliance mindset
- Employer will provide necessary training
