The Sustainable Products team is responsible for scaling a sustainable product portfolio made from crops that are grown using regenerative agriculture methods which build soil health, improve biodiversity, and enhance on-farm resilience to climate change. The mission of the team is to scale sustainable products globally and across all channels. The Sustainable Products team is part of McCain’s Global Growth & Strategy function in partnership with Global Marketing & Innovation.
**SUMMARY**:
Reporting to the Director of Global Customer Supply Chain, the Supply Chain Sustainable Products Manager is a new role at McCain with the responsibility to shape, own and lead the implementation of the Supply Chain strategy and long-term vision for Global Sustainable Products. She/he will lead the Supply Chain function and will serve as a single-point-of-contact for all supply chain matters and decisions within the dedicated Sustainable Products team, while working in partnership with the Marketing & Innovation function, Agriculture, Procurement and the Commercial teams to ensure the optimal creation and execution of the Sustainable Products strategy.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Responsible for creating, leading and owning the supply chain strategy and long-term-vision for Sustainable Products.
- Ensures top-down and bottom-up demand & production plans reflect global Sustainable Products strategy, optimizing logistics, execution and costs.
- Owns effective execution of the strategy by ensuring that all regional supply chain teams secure required line time, manufacturing specifications are met, and that product is delivered to customers on time and in full.
- Partners with global & regional agriculture and procurement teams to ensure sourcing of the crop and ingredients to meet demand, ensure proper storage/ segregation of regenerative agriculture crop, perform audits to ensure the contracted crop being used is at the level of the Farm of the Future.
- Drives initiatives to prioritize strategic sourcing activities and opportunities globally.
- Ensures the Sustainable Products Supply Chain projects and global initiatives are effectively executed in the regions, with best-in-class service in the eyes of the Customers and with optimal costs.
- Accountable for implementation of tools, technologies and analytical solutions to identify business opportunities and optimize the overall Sustainable Products end to end flow.
- Acts as an ambassador of the Sustainable Products by actively promoting the vision internally and externally with customers.
- Creates and owns governance of Supply chain policies and processes for Sustainable Products, including audit ready requirements.
- Develops, monitors and reports Sustainable Products KPIs and ensures implementation of corrective actions as necessary.
