We are looking for a Shipper/Receiver to join our growing Parts Team. In this central role, you will support our management team and strengthen the critical link between our customer service and parts sales initiatives as a Ford dealership

**Responsibilities**
- Deliver a high level of customer service to our internal & external customers
- Receive incoming shipments, unload, unpack, stock & record incoming parts, merchandise, or materials
- Check orders received for accuracy, compare to manifests, invoices, or orders
- Address damaged goods, shortages, backorders and improperly packed goods & document on carrier’s bill of lading with appropriate signatures
- Prepare and pack orders quickly and accurately, prepping work orders, bills of lading & shipping orders maintaining compliance with laws, regulations, and/or standards, ensuring documents are complete
- Arrange appropriate transportation of goods ensuring timely delivery deadlines and customer commitments are met
- Supports all Parts staff in daily operations, inventory management through documentation processes and inventory counts and back up our Parts Delivery Drivers.
- Following up on and monitoring all back orders.
- Maintains tight control over parts inventory to increase efficiency and eliminate customer delays.
- General housekeeping.
- Handling cash, debit and credit card payments

**Required Qualifications**
- 1-2 years’ experience in shipping/receiving in an automotive parts environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis
- Stock handling, as well as dispensing, ordering, receiving, and inspecting parts inventories.
- Strong computer skills with experience in a computerized Parts department.
- Ability to work as a team player as well as independently, with little or no supervision
- Must be flexible and able to work well under pressure of deadlines, changing priorities and last-minute changes
- Proven ability to pay careful attention to details, (_parts numbers, prices, terms, shipping & delivery information) _
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to adapt to the needs of our business

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with PBS software would be an asset
- Ford experience
- Forklift experience
- Customer service/support background
