Leduc, Canada NOV Inc. Full time

NOV has a job opening for a Shipper/Receiver in Leduc, AB, you will be responsible for accurately receiving and picking orders, labeling, invoicing, inventory control, and shrink wrapping skids, dual packing and all other general duties including timely delivery of materials. You may be required to perform maintenance and preparation duties of material.

**Essential Job Responsibilities**:

- Arrange for trucking or shipping/receiving services;
- Prepare records of goods shipped and received;
- Use JDE and TAT to record parts shipped and received and look up purchase orders and part locations;
- Ensure orders are correct and ready to be crated;
- Inspect and verify outgoing and incoming goods against invoices or other documents;
- Operate forklift and/or loader to load, unload, transport and store goods;
- Occasionally working from heights using a ladder;
- Rotational On-Call weekends and/or evenings where might be required to work alone;
- Clean equipment as needed while maintaining a clean work environment;
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualification Requirements **_(Minimum Education and Experience) _**:

- High school or equivalent required
- 1 - 3years of experience preferred
- Forklift & Crane certification is considered an asset
- Knowledge and experience with warehousing and industrial equipment an asset
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

**Technical Requirements ( **_Software or Program Knowledge Needed _**)**:

- Databases knowledge an asset.
- JDE
- TAT
- ONBASE

**HSE Requirements **_(Training and Physical Ability Needs): _**
- Shop environment orientation (exits, fire extinguishers, first aid & eyewash stations, spill kits, propane storage) and yard environment (building locations, processes);
- Squatting, bending, reaching, and walking (further details to be reviewed on JHA);
- PPE training for possible noise exposure, mists/vapors, gloves, safety glasses and steel toed boots;
- New hire / employee HSE orientation;
- Material Handling procedure NQI-1022 training;
- NOV in-house forklift training if required;
- WHMIS training;
- NOV in-house Overhead/Jib crane training.
